Actress Divya Bhatnagar Passes Away Due to COVID

Actress Divya Bhatnagar who was fighting the battle with Covid-19 lost her life on Monday 7th December at Mumbai’s Seven Hills Hospital.

Actress Divya Bhatnagar aged 34, who was fighting the battle with Covid-19 lost her life on Monday 7th December at Mumbai’s Seven Hills Hospital. She was admitted to the hospital in November after contracting the virus. Her condition got critical as her oxygen level dropped to 71 and she was a patient of high blood pressure. A casting director close to Divya Bhatnagar told Indianexpress.com that she was on the ventilator for the past few days. Earlier speaking about her condition, Divya's mother had told ETimes, “Divya had a temperature since the last few days. She was feeling very uneasy. I came down from Delhi and got an oximeter home. We checked her oxygen levels, they had dropped to 71. She is on a ventilator now, her oxygen level is about 84, and her condition is critical.” 

Divya had also shared a picture of herself on Instagram and asked fans to pray for her speedy recovery. She wrote, "Hi my Instagram family. Pray for my speedy recovery. I love you all." As soon as the shocking news of her death came, a lot of celebrities from the Television industry including Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Shilpa Shirodkar took to social media and poured in condolences. Divya had worked in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Tera Yaar Hoon Main, Udaan, Sanskaar and many more.
