The situation between India and Pakistan is becoming more serious every day. ISH News has already shared some videos on this—do check them out if you missed them.

In a major step to strengthen the Indian Navy after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India has signed a ?63,000-crore deal with France to buy 26 Rafale Marine fighter jets. These jets will be used on India’s first made-in-India aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant, which can carry only 26 planes. That’s why India has ordered this exact number. These jets will not come all at once but will be delivered by 2031, though we may get a few earlier if needed urgently. The deal also includes weapons, simulators, crew training, and 5 years of full support and maintenance. These Rafale jets can also carry nuclear weapons, which has raised many questions.

An old clip from the animated show The Simpsons is going viral online. In it, a character jokes about India nuking Pakistan. The Simpsons are known for making strange predictions, and while this is not to be taken seriously, the timing feels odd.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has claimed that India will definitely attack soon. Due to fear of war, many reports say that Pakistani soldiers are resigning, and their army chief General Asim Munir has gone missing after 26th April. Some say he has moved his family abroad for safety, and other officers have done the same. People online are calling it shameful that Pakistan’s top leaders are protecting their own families but leaving the public behind.

Adding to this, Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif has reportedly been admitted to a hospital in Rawalpindi, though this news is not confirmed. Some are joking online that he is scared of an Indian attack.

Back home, ISRO Chairman V Narayanan has announced that India will launch 100 to 150 new satellites in the next three years to improve border and coastal security. These satellites will be made with the help of private companies. Currently, India has 55 satellites for this purpose, but the government feels more are needed to keep the country safe. So now, ISRO will not only explore space but also help protect India from threats.
