Indian Man Beaten in Thailand Over Unpaid Sex Service

An Indian tourist was allegedly assaulted in Pattaya after a dispute over unpaid sex service fees. The viral video has raised questions about tourist safety and nightlife-related risks.

A 52-year-old Indian man, Raj Jasuja, was allegedly beaten by a group of transgender women in Pattaya, Thailand, following a dispute over payment for sex services.

The incident occurred early on 27 December 2025 near the entrance of Walking Street, a popular nightlife area.

Videos show the violent altercation where several trans women are seen confronting and assaulting him. This quickly went viral on social media, drawing widespread attention and debate online.

According to local reports, the confrontation reportedly began as a verbal argument with one transgender sex worker over an alleged unpaid fee, which then escalated into a physical altercation involving multiple people.

Rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Dhammastan Foundation were alerted around 5:30 AM, found Jasuja with visible injuries to his face and the back of his head, and administered first aid before he was taken to Pattamakun Hospital for further treatment.

Thai police said they intend to investigate the case further and will ask Jasuja to file a formal complaint once he recovers fully, with CCTV footage and eyewitness statements being examined as part of the inquiry.

The viral footage has sparked public reaction online, with discussions touching on tourist safety, sex tourism risks, and the conduct of both visitors and local workers in Pattaya’s nightlife districts
