Kannada actor Chiranjeevi Sarja’s sudden death on 7th June has come as a huge shock for his fans as well as several southern celebrities. Chiranjeevi was just 39 years old. Social media was flooded with condolences and sadness for Chiranjeevi. On 6th June, Chiranjeevi complained of breathlessness and severe chest pain and consulted a doctor. On 7th June afternoon, he was rushed to a hospital in an unresponsive state. Apparently, he suffered a heart attack and doctors couldn’t revive him. The funeral was held at his brother Dhruva's farmhouse in Bengaluru.
Chiranjeevi’s final journey was telecast live on television and online as well. A lot of celebrities and fans also attended his funeral. Chiranjeevi Sarja was wrapped in a National flag as a mark of respect from his family, fans and friends. His wife Meghna Raj, who is four months pregnant broke down at the ceremony while others tried to console her. A heartbreaking video of her crying and kissing her husband have gone viral on the internet. In Spite of Covid-19 lockdown, hundreds gathered to pay their last respects to the actor.
