Kerala: Deaf Children Given Free School Kits
Ajmal Jan and Spanish man John held Deaf children in Kerala.
In Kerala's Pathanamthitta, there is Pathanamthitta Deaf Forum and its President is Azeena T. Its General Secretary is Jose T. He wanted to distribute school kits to Deaf children. He then approached Ajmal Jan, who creates awareness about Ayurveda. Jose approached Ajmal about the donation drive and Ajmal instantly agreed to lend his support. Ajmal then asked John from Spain if he could support the innitiative. John said he would donated schools kits to Deaf children. This is because he is a teacher to Deaf children in Spain. When he learnt about Deaf children in Kerala he was very happy to help.
John & Ajmal made equal contributions for the donation drive. Schoolo bags, stationeries, etc. were purchased and distributed to the children. This was done on 29th May 2022. The event was executed to perfection by Pathanamthitta Deaf Forum's president & General Secretary. John, Ajmal and the students were overjoyed by this.
