'Use Me Instead': Blinkit Delivery Partner Says to Woman Who Ordered a Sex Toy

A woman's complaint about an inappropriate remark from a delivery partner during a Blinkit order has sparked concerns over customer privacy and safety in quick-commerce deliveries.

Quick-commerce apps have made it possible to order almost anything within minutes. But one woman's recent experience raised serious questions about privacy and safety.

Sharing her story on LinkedIn, she said she had ordered an intimate wellness product through Blinkit. Before delivery, the rider called to confirm her location. When she opened the door, she felt uneasy because of the way he looked at her and quickly collected the package.

Soon after, she noticed the package appeared to be improperly sealed. Moments later, she received another call from the same delivery partner.

According to her post, the rider first questioned what the product was and then allegedly made an inappropriate remark, suggesting she "use him instead." The woman said what frightened her most was that the delivery worker knew exactly where she lived.

She confronted him and warned that she would report the incident, after which he apologised. She also questioned why the package was not securely sealed and called for stronger privacy safeguards for sensitive deliveries.

After she filed a complaint, Blinkit responded and launched an investigation. In a later update, the woman said the company informed her that the delivery partner had been terminated and appropriate internal action had been taken.

The incident has reignited conversations around customer privacy, safety, and the handling of intimate product deliveries in India's rapidly growing quick-commerce industry.
