Zomato Delivery Rider Achieves His MBA Dream

From working as a Zomato delivery rider to earning admission at FMS Delhi, Girish Sharma's journey is a powerful story of perseverance, hard work, and never giving up.

While many chase dreams from classrooms, Girish Sharma chased his while juggling jobs, family responsibilities, and financial struggles.

Hailing from Haryana, Girish studied through distance learning at IGNOU while working to support his family. Over the years, he took up tuition classes, sold books in Delhi markets, and even delivered food as a Zomato rider.

Determined to build a better future, he set his sights on an MBA and began preparing for CAT. His first two attempts brought disappointing scores of around 80 and 79 percentile, but he refused to quit.

On his third attempt, after months of relentless hard work—and despite his computer reportedly crashing during the exam—Girish achieved an outstanding 98.94 percentile.

His perseverance earned him admission to the prestigious Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University.

From delivering food on the streets to securing a seat at one of India's top B-schools, Girish's journey is a powerful reminder that persistence can take you farther than circumstances ever can.
