Mumbai Hosts Special Haldi KumKum Event

The Anand Mitra Mandal is celebrating its 43rd year. Their President Manish Vaidya and General Secretary Prakash Dhure organised their Annual Cultural and Haldi Kumkum programme on 26th january 2020. Unique games were held at the event and many Deaf individuals enjoyed it. The programme has completed 43 years and has been organised ever since. Its founders have worked hard towards creating a community for the Deaf where they can socialise which like minded individuals. Soon the association will complete 50 years. They are all planning on celebrating it on a grand scale. Many Chief guests were invited for the programme as well to create awareness about lack of accessible services for the deaf and the recognition of sign language as the 23rd official language of India.
