2 Shocking Domestic Murders from Delhi and Mumbai
Two shocking murder cases in Delhi and Mumbai reveal how relationships turned deadly, leaving everyone stunned.
ISH News recently reported two disturbing cases where women killed their husbands in Delhi and Mumbai. These stories raise serious questions about relationships, mental health, and how easily violence is being used as a solution.
The first case happened on 20th July 2025 in Delhi. Farzana Khan brought her husband, Mohammad Shahid, to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital with deep stab wounds. She told the police he took poison and stabbed himself because of stress from gambling losses. But doctors found that the wounds didn’t match a suicide and informed the police. After checking her phone, police found that Farzana had searched for ways to kill someone using poison and how to delete chat history. When questioned, she confessed to stabbing her husband three times. She said she was angry because he couldn’t satisfy her sexually and was also in debt and having an affair. Farzana has been arrested for murder.
The second case happened in Mumbai in 2021. Shahida Shaikh, with help from her lover Amit Vishwakarma, killed her husband Raees Shaikh. One night, while Raees was sleeping, they strangled him with a wire. Their 6-year-old daughter was in the house and later told relatives that her mother had buried her father inside the kitchen. Shahida and Amit had cut the body, buried it under the kitchen floor, and tiled over it to hide the crime. Shahida even filed a missing complaint to avoid suspicion. But her daughter’s brave words helped the police find the body, and both Shahida and Amit were arrested.
These two cases show a dangerous trend. Instead of taking legal steps, some people are choosing violence. This not only destroys lives but also deeply harms children and families. We need more awareness, mental health support, and ways to stop such crimes before they happen.
