8-Year Old Girl Gangraped by 12 and 13-Year Old Boys in Delhi

Now there is a similar case once again from Delhi. In the Okhla area of South Delhi, an 8-year-old girl’s father had to go to his village and left her with her mother and her little brother. Because the mother worked all day at a printing press, the girl was often home alone after school.
Three boys aged 12 to 13 from the same neighborhood noticed she was alone; they had dropped out of school and came from very poor families where their parents worked as daily laborers.
For 2 days these boys undressed her and tried to rape her one by one. They had threatened her against sharing it with anyone else.
Then on the 3rd day, 14th March 2026, while the mother was still at work, the boys tricked the 8-year-old girl into following them to an empty warehouse or godown nearby and raped her.
When the mother finally came home from the printing press that night, she found her daughter very frightened, but she managed to tell her mother everything that had happened over the last few days and what the boys had just done to her in the warehouse.
The mother immediately called the Delhi Police. A team of officers arrived quickly at their home in Okhla. They brought a female officer to talk to the girl so she would feel a little safer.
That same night, the police took the girl and her mother to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for a medical examination. Later on, doctors confirmed a sexual assault and took her statement.
By 15 March 2026, the police had tracked down and caught all three boys. They also brought in the owner of the empty warehouse for questioning to find out why the building was left open.
