Congress to Go off All TV Channels for One Month

The Congress party has decided not to send any representatives to news channels for debates or interviews for a period of one month.

As PM Modi was preparing to swear into his second term as Prime Minister, the Congress spokesperson, Randeep Surjewala made an announcement via Twitter where he proclaimed that no members of the Congress party are allowed to go on news TV channels and have debates or make statements .

This move falls in line with what the Samajwadi Party did where their members were also instructed to do the same. This announcement comes at a time when the Congress are in a state of confusion as to who their new leader will be after they lost in the elections. No one knows the future of Rahul Gandhi.

They have never taken such a decision before. They want to see what would be its outcome. They feel that by doing this they will pressure the media to represent them fairly.
