Forensic Student and Ex-Boyfriend LPG Agent Plot Chilling Murder in Delhi
A forensic student and two others have been arrested for murdering a UPSC aspirant in Delhi. The trio staged a fire to hide the crime, but forensic evidence exposed the truth
A shocking crime in Delhi has left people speechless. A 21-year-old forensic science student, Amrita Chauhan, her ex-boyfriend, Sumit Kashyap, and their friend, Sandeep Kumar, have been arrested for the murder of Amrita’s boyfriend, 32-year-old UPSC aspirant Ramkesh Meena.
The case began on 6 October 2025, when a fire broke out in a flat in Gandhi Vihar, North Delhi. Firefighters found a burnt body that was later identified as Meena. At first, it looked like an accident, but investigators soon found signs of a planned murder.
CCTV footage and call records led police to Amrita and her two friends. Investigations revealed that Meena had private video clips of more than 15 women, which Amrita had asked him to delete. When he refused, she planned the crime. Police allege that Sumit and Sandeep strangled Meena, while Amrita poured oil and wine on his body before setting it on fire to make it look like a gas cylinder blast.
The accused also took Meena’s hard disk, laptops, and other items before escaping. The truth came out through forensic evidence, CCTV clips, and call data.
The three accused are now in custody, and police have charged them with murder, conspiracy, and destruction of evidence. The case has shocked many, especially because a forensic student used her crime knowledge for murder.
The investigation continues as people across India demand justice for Ramkesh Meena.
