Honey Trap Case: IAF Wing Commander Arrested and Booked
An IAF Wing Commander was arrested for allegedly sharing sensitive defence information with a Pakistani intelligence operative.
The Delhi Police have filed a chargesheet against an Indian Air Force Wing Commander who is accused of sharing sensitive defence information with a Pakistani intelligence operative.
The officer, a resident of Alwar, Rajasthan, had been under surveillance by the IAF Intelligence Wing for several months before May 2026. Investigators allege that he came in contact with a woman through social media and later shared military-related details, photographs, videos and documents with her.
On 30 May, Delhi Police arrested the officer following a complaint from the Indian Air Force. He was booked under the Official Secrets Act.
During the investigation, police examined his phone and digital communications. They also alleged that he had installed suspicious software on another IAF officer's phone, and are investigating whether it could have been used to access sensitive data.
On 30 July, Delhi Police filed a chargesheet in the case. The officer remains in judicial custody, while the allegations against him are yet to be proved in court.
