Husband Pushes Wife Off the Stairs on Honeymoon: Threatens to Kill Her
A Noida woman has accused her husband of repeated physical assault and death threats shortly after marriage, leading to an FIR and police investigation.
A 27-year-old woman in Noida has accused her husband of repeated physical assault and threats just days after their wedding, prompting police to register an FIR and begin an investigation.
According to the complaint, the couple married on 30 April 2026 and initially stayed at the woman’s home before heading on a honeymoon to Sikkim and Darjeeling. She alleges that the abuse began the very next day after marriage and continued throughout the trip.
The FIR states that during their stay at a hotel on 9 May, the husband allegedly pushed her down a staircase, leaving her with serious head and knee injuries, and later threatened to kill her if she reported the matter.
After returning to Noida on 10 May, the woman further alleged that he again became violent when she attempted to approach the police, damaging her phone and physically assaulting her.
The husband later left for his parents’ home in Delhi.
On 28 May, the woman lodged a complaint at Sector 113 Police Station, after which police registered a case and began a formal investigation based on her statement and medical evidence.
