IAF Officer’s Wife Blackmailed, Raped, Forcefully Married and Converted to Islam: Video Goes Viral

A Nagpur woman has accused her former classmate of drugging, blackmailing, repeatedly raping, and forcibly attempting to convert her, leading to the arrest of two accused.

A shocking case from Nagpur, Maharashtra has led to the arrest of two men on charges of rape, blackmail, extortion and attempted religious conversion.

The complainant, a 24-year-old married property dealer, alleged that her former schoolmate, Ayyaz Taj Madare, contacted her in February 2025 under the pretext of a property deal. During a meeting at a hotel, he allegedly drugged her, recorded obscene photos and videos without her consent, and then used them to blackmail her.

Fearing the videos would be sent to her husband, an Indian Air Force personnel, she remained silent. She claimed Ayyaz extorted nearly ?4 lakh from her and repeatedly sexually assaulted her over several months.

The woman further alleged that Ayyaz forced her to participate in rituals involving unknown liquids, Urdu verses and other practices presented as hypnosis or black magic.

On 31 May 2025, she was allegedly taken to Kalmeshwar, where two other men, Ameen Shaikh and Hazrat Maulana, conducted a conversion ceremony and forced her to say "Qabul Hai".

She claimed she was told she had been converted to Islam and married to Ayyaz against her will. She was then allegedly sexually assaulted again.

After her husband returned home recently, she revealed the ordeal and filed a police complaint on 13 June. A viral video, in which she can be heard pleading "Please leave me" while resisting, has become key evidence.

Police have arrested Ayyaz Taj Madare and Ameen Shaikh, while the third accused, Hazrat Maulana, remains absconding. Charges include rape, extortion, criminal intimidation, attempted religious conversion, and offences under Maharashtra's Anti-Black Magic Act. The investigation is ongoing.
