INS Tamal from India, Blackout Bomb from China
China reveals a powerful blackout bomb while India launches its last foreign-made warship, INS Tamal, marking a major step in defence amid rising global tensions.
You all must be aware of the tensions between India and China. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there were even clashes between the armies of both countries. China is also a strong supporter of Pakistan, and many defence experts believe that there is a chance of future war between India and China.
Now, there is a big update related to this.
News channels across the world are reporting about China’s new mysterious weapon – the “Blackout Bomb”, also known as a Graphite Bomb.
This bomb was recently shown in a 3D animated video by China Central Television (CCTV), the Chinese government’s official channel.
The video shows a missile launched from a land vehicle. The missile releases around 90 small devices that bounce and then explode in the air, spreading black fibres.
These fibres are specially made to damage electric wires and power systems, cutting off electricity in big areas—even entire cities.
This bomb is so advanced that even air defence systems cannot stop it.
Earlier, only the USA had such a bomb, which they used in 1999 during war with Serbia, cutting off 70% of the country’s electricity.
Now, China claims it has made an even more powerful version.
Will China use this bomb against India? The chances are very low. But if China gives this bomb to Pakistan, it could be a big danger for India.
Many believe China might use this weapon against Taiwan, which it considers a part of its own country.
Meanwhile, in India, news channels are highlighting the launch of a powerful new warship – INS Tamal.
INS Tamal is a Russian-made warship that can launch BrahMos missiles, which are capable of hitting both land and sea targets.
What’s special is that INS Tamal will be the last warship India buys from another country, as India is now ready to build its own warships. This is a proud moment for the Indian Navy.
The warship was made by India and Russia together at the Yantar shipyard in Kaliningrad, Russia.
It will soon be deployed in Karwar, Karnataka.
The name “Tamal” comes from the sword of Lord Indra, the king of gods. It is said that Lord Indra used this sword to win many battles.
Just like that, INS Tamal is a strong weapon for India, made to protect the country and fight enemies.
The Indian Navy has also shared a video of INS Tamal, showing its strength and technology.
However, there’s a small worry. The USA is planning a 500% tariff on India and China for buying oil and resources from Russia.
Now, with India launching INS Tamal—a ship built with Russia—this might make the US more serious about that tariff plan.
