Lionel Messi’s Argentina Wins Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022!

In probably the wildest final in FIFA history, Argentina won its third World Cup title by beating France in Qatar.

Argentina star Lionel Messi and his team have won the FIFA World Cup 2022! The match was held in Qatar yesterday and Argentina won by 4-2. It was a very exciting match. In the start of the match Argentina made 2 goals and everyone thought they were going to win. However towards the end of the 90-minute match both teams tied for 2-2. The extra time also saw a goal from both Argentina and France that forced the match into the penalty shootout. In the end there was a penalty round. Argentina scored 4-2 and won the match. This is Argentina's third World Cup title since the Diego Maradona-inspired victory in Mexico City in 1986. They had won their maiden title in 1978. People are even more happy because this is Messi’s last world cup and after this he is going to retire and he won the world cup. In all of Messi’s career he has never won the World Cup and this victory makes it even more special. Across India people were watching the screening. France supporters were extremely sad. [Box 12 Kylian Mbappé in the entire match made 4 goals! 3  goals during the match and 1 penalty kick. But even that was not enough. France supporters were devastated. 

But the stadium was packed with Argentine fans and the city of Beunos Aires the capital of Argentina saw large crowds celebrating the match. Indian actors went for the match, Emmanuel Macron French President was there and even Deepika Padukone was there! Before the match Deepika unveiled the World Cup Trophy along with Iker Casillas a spanish football player. People trolled Deepika for her outfit. After Messi’s victory he was in tears. When he lifted the World Cup trophy, he still had the famous blue and white striped shirt on, he was given a bizarre cloak to wear over the shirt. What was it? And why was Messi wearing it?

The cloak is called a ‘bisht’. It worn by dignitaries wear over a thawb on very formal occasions.’
