1. Bengaluru Entrepreneur Repairs Footpath Himself
A footpath near the housing society of Siddharth Dialani, founder and CEO of BharatAgri, remained damaged for years. After several complaints to civic authorities went unanswered, he spent Rs.2,700 on labour and materials to repair it himself.
He said the repaired pathway would make it easier for senior citizens, wheelchair users and parents with strollers to use the footpath. The story went viral, with people praising his initiative while criticising the delay by authorities.
2. American Woman Moves to Bihar Village
An American woman named Hope is now living in a Bihar village with her Indian husband, Abhisekh Singh.
She first visited India in October 2025 and has been living in the village for around six months. She regularly shares videos of her daily life, including washing clothes by hand, cooking on a traditional stove and wearing Indian clothes. She says village life is very different from what she experienced in America.
3. The 1980s AI Crime Story Is Fake
A viral story claimed that an AI-generated 1980s photo trend helped police catch a woman who had allegedly stolen a gold necklace 45 years ago.
According to the claim, the woman uploaded her photo using the trend and was recognised by someone who remembered the case. However, a fact-check found that the story was false and that the newspaper screenshot being shared was fabricated. The decades-old theft was not actually solved through the AI trend.
4. Kerala Woman Faces Arrest Threat in Afghanistan
Kerala travel vlogger Arunima was travelling alone in Afghanistan when authorities in Bamyan checked her passport, visa and travel documents.
She was told that she could not travel alone without a male companion or approved guide and that she did not have the required tourism permit. She was also warned that she could be arrested.
Arunima posted an SOS on Facebook seeking help from the Indian Embassy. However, she was not arrested or taken to a police station. A local man spoke to the authorities, after which she was allowed to leave. Arunima later confirmed that she was safe.
